8. Jesus meets the women of Jerusalem.

9. Jesus falls the third time.

10. Jesus is stripped of His clothes.

11. Jesus is nailed to the Cross.

12. Jesus dies on the Cross.

13. Jesus is taken off the Cross.

14. Jesus is laid in the tomb.

Stations of The Cross

My journey with The Lord is the cornerstone of my life. And I am blessed to say that I have had the most unimaginable journey thus far. I am privileged, The Lord has revealed Himself to me in many ways and on many occasions throughout my life, so naturally, Easter is a significant time for me and my family.

This year, I was compelled to complete a task that The Lord impressed on my heart many years ago. By His grace, blessing and leading, I have completed a series on the Fourteen Stations of the Cross. These are preparatory sketches, for a more in depth series, that I will complete during this year.

Lent 2018 began on 14 February 2018 (until today, 29 March 2018), it was around this time, that I started experiencing certain hardships. Until now, it has been a tumultuous, emotionally - testing road of faith and trust. The main message – The Lord calling me back to make Him number one in my life and to recommit my entire self to Him once again. And so, that’s what I did. I have returned to my Almighty and this series of art works symbolises my journey of healing, faith, trust and devotion to a God that leaves me astounded each and every day.

I sit here typing this, in awe, of the mighty things The Lord has done in my life. And as I walk each step, venturing out in complete faith and trust, I anticipate the great things to come.
